More work completed
Finally varnished the forward head. What an amazing transformation. Even added a few
girlie touches to the space. It finally feels like a bathroom you could spend sometime in. There are 2 bathrooms on the boat with bathtubs! This is a rare thing to find on a vessel. However the cruel joke is we are unable to take a hot bath. You see our water heater only has a 6 gallon capacity currently. I guess if we ever have a dire need for a hot bath to soak in we could just heat up a boiling stock pot full of hot water and then temper the water as desired. But right now just having a hot running shower seems to work perfectly for us.

No more
bright yellow. Thankfully, cause we found that bee's really enjoyed it painted yellow. In fact as it was being painted black they weren't too happy with us. They kept flying around us, one even hit my hand, thankfully it didn't decide to sting me. The question now with the dinghy being black is, "Do you think a whale is going to try and mate the dinghy? Are a shark might find it looks like a big seal?" Matthew of course just laughs at my questions. They are joke questions of course or maybe not when you really start thinking about it. You begin to ponder these strange things when you live on the water.

hey girl, you are doing a great job on the bathroom. I hope you don't spend to much time there. You know that sea sick stuff we here about.ha ha
ReplyDeleteI ponder the same type of questions... just make sure your oars don't look like seal flippers...
